Since we didn’t have dinner the night before…check out was at 11am…We had no where to go on this day…so…after breakfast they went back into the “water room.” Made a new friend…I was going to let them play for an hour and then check out…they were having a blast…so I checked us out…made the run with luggage to truck (they have luggage caddies or wagons you can use for free to haul your junk from automobile to room and back)…got back…kids were still having fun…at noon we had to go…so…the kids got 2-hours of more fun in the water time…overall…great time…I would recommend this for families with active kids…the teen scene maybe not so much…but if the teens are committed to the family experience…I was observing 16/17 year olds playing with younger family members…again…fun times…and not at overly inflated prices… “dance party” in main lobby… Was leaving in morning…I woke up 6:30am…went to the in-site Dunkin Donuts…bought two coffees for $12… by 8am…decided to try the “buffet breakfast” for 4 people…$16.99 for adults… $9.99 for kids…great selection…and quality was “good” to “very good” depending on what you had to eat…nothing great…but nothing poor either…kids had cereal and bacon… I loaded up on scrambled eggs, two types of sausage, bacon… they had a “Latino-esque” section of “breakfast options” a breakfast quesadilla and chilaquiles verdes option…2 Coffees and 2 OJs cost extra $1.99 each, I believe…It was good. By the time the room closed at 8pm…the kids were wiped out…didn’t want to go to dinner since they were kinda still filled from their late lunch…so we had some quick snacks in the room…they wanted to go to the 9pm “dance party,” so they showered…got in their PJs…and we went down for the 20 min. Kids wanted late lunch around 4pm…2 kid meals…and 2 “snacks” a big heated pretzel and hummus and pita…all 4 totaled $40…not bad at all…they made “friends” with other kids…I connected with their parents…so we had eyes on them in the various parts of the park while they played here and there…worked out nicely. Got to the “water room” at 12-noon…and stayed until they closed the room at 8pm…a full-solid 8-hours of fun…I just sat drinking a couple of beers…for $12 each. I booked a room with check-in time scheduled for 4pm…we got into town at 11am…a room was available…I wasn’t worried about view and all of that…got into room at 11:15…the kids wanted to play in the arcade…which is a suckers bet…but I let them have their fun learning spending good $$$ for crappy toys is a waste…but they had fun for the 20 min we were in arcade. ![]() ![]() My kids had a blast…that’s all that mattered to me.
